国家经济咨询委员会成员再纳阿兹南（Zainal Aznam）揭露，土著权威组织（PERKASA）可以稀释掉新经济模式（NEM）中诸如创立公平机会理事会、政治改革、绩效制等内容。他昨天在一个论坛上也说，听取土著权威组织，证明内阁在改革的路上已经失败了。
他说“这是政府的试金石，在这个时候我必须说的是，当局没有政治意愿。” 那么国阵与土权组织有什么分别，土权组织竟然可以行使如此巨大的影响力，彻底地破坏新经济模式。
The Penang Education Council (PEC), one of many funders of Arts Education (ArtsEd) – the purported publisher of the ‘My Balik Pulau’ tourism promotion booklet – has denied any role in the publication.
Speaking on behalf of the PEC, Socio-economic and Environmental Research Institute (Seri) executive director Liew Chin Tong said the project had been carried out before March 8, 2008, but the booklet was only published last year.

槟州政府欢迎首相署部长丹斯里许子根博士宣布，槟城人能在12项国家关键经济领域中受益，因为其中10个项目将着重在槟城的发展。两天前许子根在槟州华人大会堂强调，联邦政府并没有忽略槟城，他们将会注重槟城，不会让槟城在国家发展的洪流中落后。
既然许子根说槟城人民将从12项国家关键经济领域中的10个项目受惠，包括电子电气业、通讯、旅游及保健，槟州政府希望他能够提供详细资料。在上个月公布总投资额高达670亿令吉的19项先行计划（EPP），估计将创造3万5000个新的就业机会、增加国民总收入360亿令吉，但是，没有任何项目将在槟城展开。
