This is a MOU signed between Hunza Realty Sdn. Bhd. and Persatuan Pengurusan Sekolah Aik Hua Pulau Pinang, for the purpose of a jointly development project of a school, namely “SJK (C) Aik Hua” on a piece of land held under Lot 20353, Lilitan Sungai Ara, MK 10, DBD.

As per the approvals granted by Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa on 7th March 2018, Hunza Realty shall contribute a total sum of RM10.7 million towards the cost and expenses of the construction of the development of the school. The RM10.7 million will be valued by government-appointed assessors. The remaining cost and expenses shall be borne by the school. The estimated total cost of the hardware and software of this project is RM22 million.

This project is targeted to be commenced in 2019, after all necessary approvals obtained from the relevant authorities. The construction will take approximately 18 months to complete with an additional 6 months allowance as contingency.

The contribution made by Hunza Realty toward the development of the school is one of the conditions of the development project of Penang International Commercial City (PICC) by Hunza Realty. The PICC project is a commercial integrated development located at Bayan Baru, Penang.
