REGISTRATION EXTENDED FOR KOMTAR Tower Run 2011

For those not yet registered for the KOMTAR Tower Run 2011, you should not miss the event as you have got the extended dateline until this weekend, 29th of May, 2011 (Sunday). Now, you can still go to our registration centre or our booth at Registration Roadshow to submit your entry form.

KOMTAR Assemblyman Ng Wei Aik who is also Chairman of KOMTAR Revitalisation Committee said that the organizer received a lot of requests from the public in the last few days for extended dateline due to most of the secondary schools in Penang having their examination right now. Thus, the organizer decided to extend it until this weekend, as to allow more students to participate in this remarkable event.

Until today, we have 650 runners registered with a lot of runners come from other states, like Kedah, Perlis, Terengganu, Perak, Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan & Negeri Sembilan. For international category, the participants are from Kenya, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand. It shows that the community at large has committed their love towards such extreme challenging sports.

Participants will be given the participation certificate upon joining the event on 12th of June 2011 (Sunday). Those completed the run at the finishing point will be given another Completion Certificate and Finishing Medal. All runners are entitled to get a DRY FIT type T-shirts & goodies bags on 4th & 5th of June, 2011. Lucky draw will be held after the event during the prize presentation ceremony at 8th floor of 1st Avenue.

The Chief Minister of Penang Lim Guan Eng will be invited for the ceremony. We also welcome those are interested to be our partners to sponsor the event. Let the event become more attractive and meaningful and continue to be another important event for Penang as well as for KOMTAR.
