CM’s new service centre

PENANG Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s service centre for his Air Putih constituency has shifted to a new location at Jalan Air Itam, near the Air Putih junction.

The new centre is about 600m away from its previous location along the same road at Taman Sri Indah.

Lim, who opened the centre on Jan 30, said the new service centre was more convenient for the elderly as it was on the ground floor, as opposed to the previous centre located on a first-floor shop unit.

Also present were state executive councillors Danny Law and Wong Hon Wai, who are assemblymen for Batu Lanchang and Air Itam respectively, Komtar assemblyman Ng Wei Aik, who is Lim’s political secretary, Jawi assemblyman Tan Beng Huat and Paya Terubong assemblyman Yeoh Soon Hin.

The centre is open from 10am to 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 10am to 2pm and 7pm to 9pm on Monday and Thursday; and 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
